Kindergarten field trip to the Zoo.
Rowan is a huge Cardinals fan and we had lots of fun at a rainy baseball game in Texas watching the Cardinals play the Rangers this year.
Last day of Kindergarten. Rowan did amazingly well during Kindergarten. First grade has been tougher, but he's getting there.
I wish I could say these two get along as well as this picture shows. They generally fight tooth and nail and it's exhausting. Occasionally they still can figure out how to get along.

Rowan started First Grade with his arm in a splint/sling. First grade has been a hard adjustment this year, but I think he's going to finish strong.

Freezing to death on the first grade fall field trip is a day I won't soon forget. It was miserable, but so glad I got to be there and spend the afternoon with my sweet boy.

Upon reflection there have been a lot of lost tooth photos this year.
Lunch with Rowan at school is one of my favorite things and sadly I've been terrible about doing it this year. Friday he'll get birthday lunch and I'll try to slip a few more time end before the end of the year.

After passing his YMCA swim test for the second time this afternoon. So proud of him.
Valentine's Day party 2020
Rowan has been working very hard on getting his math buttons this year. He diligently requests that Zach or I make him a math quiz to practice on every night. He gets extremely anxious about it being timed, which I think throws him off more than anything. But he has stuck with it, work hard, and finally got his first two buttons a few weeks ago. I'm so proud of how hard he's worked this year at school.
