Three Year Old Interview

Here is Zane's birthday interview for three. I didn't do one last year as I wasn't sure he would get it. He totally got it this year and the last two questions were add ons because and he kept saying, "what else mamma." This conversation was held over his usual lunch of ham, cheese, and strawberries while I transcribed his answers

1.How old will you be on your birthday? Three
2.Who is your best friend? Maggie
3.What is your favorite thing to do? Play with Grandma
4.What is your favorite color? Green
5.What is your favorite food? Cheese
6. What do you like to do with your family? Play peek-a-boo (I can't remember the last time we played this, but ok.)

15.What is your favorite animal? Wilbur (the naked mole rat)
16.What is your favorite hat? Pirate Hat
17.What is your favorite snack? Goldfish
18.What do you like to cuddle when you sleep? Wilbur
19.Who is favorite Super Hero? Zane then when I said besides yourself he said Spiderman
20.What is your favorite song? Daddy's Song

 Bonus Questions:
What do you want for your birthday? Maggie, spiderman, buzz whizzle present, super hero cape, lemonade, chocolate milk, baseballs, shoes, a box, and something awesome or cool.

Who do you want to come to your birthday party? Maggie, Rowan, Jamey, Grandma, Uncle Brent, Aunt Abbey, Levi, Brendan, Uncle Able.
 - For everyone feeling left out that they didn't make the list, don't worry Zach and I didn't make the list either. When I asked if Mommy and Daddy could come he said, "ummm, no thanks."

All of this is spot on what I would have said for his answers besides the Rocket book and the peek-a-boo. I loved watching him think about each question, scratching his little head, "let's see." I think I will video tape it next year.

  1. Ah,love that M is his best friend and so very sad she won't be there for his birthday :( He would have loved the party here today. I think he and Corwyn would be fast friends. (Or possibly kill each other)

  2. Oh my, what a precious child and so fun to hear his answers to these questions. I wish I had done this for you guys as you were growing up. Be sure to tell him that Grandma would be there for his party if she could. Next year in St. Louis! Or maybe next year you can come here and share a birthday party with Everett. That's fun. I want do that.
