Happy Halloween

Ever since we had gotten Zane's surgery date I had been depressed about Zane spending his first Halloween in the hospital. However, Zane was an amazing heart patient and got out of that horrible place in record time, so we are now celebrating Halloween at home. Zane has had on multiple festive outfits today, the first one lasted approximately 45 minutes (pictured to the right), Zach missed it completely while he was sleeping in. The outfit was obviously too small for him, but I found it in with the hand me downs from cousin Levi and I thought we had to at least try. He has had on fun Halloween socks all day with his multiple other, button up the front, outfits we found as well.

Zach and I had a very productive furniture shopping day today while Uncle Able and Mom watched the little man. We got a sectional for downstairs so when Zane starts sitting up, crawling, toddling ect.. he won't fall and get multiple skull fractures on our hard wood floors. Turns out furniture shopping is much easier when their is literally only one sectional and ottoman that will fit down your stairs. On the way to the airport, to drop off Able, we went to Carol House Furniture ( because we like nice things) and bought a new kitchen table. This had really become a safety issue since one of our dining room chairs is currently being held together with twine and one could collapse at any time. We got a great deal on a table and now are set to host dinners for eight, so feel free to come over for dinner.

Once we got home from the airport Zane, Mom, and I went for a walk around the neighborhood and scoped out the Halloween decorations. There were some really fun ones and a few people who where all set up for camp fires in their driveways.  A camp fire sounds amazing, but not in my drive way. We will just have to settle for a fire in our fire place.

When we got home from our walk Zane put on his banana costume and we had yet another banana costume photo shoot. The first one took place on the day he came home from the hospital. He looks so adorable but I think it might annoy him just a bit since he can't get his feet stretched all the way out. Now we are handing out candy to the trick or treaters.

All and all it has been a phenomenal first Halloween for little Zane. I am so happy that we were home for it and not in a hospital room.What a sweet boy. Hope you had a fantastic Halloween!!!!
