Mooly and Bull

When Zach was little his lovey was a little yellow stuffed cow, which he named Bull. This is not a creative name, but I guess it worked. When we found out we were pregnant Zach's Mom sent Bull back to our house for the baby to play with. Since then he has been sitting in a place of honor on the top shelf in Zane's room. There was a brief period of time when he sat on the changing table for Zane to look at, but it became clear that he was in the line of fire for numerous bodily fluids so he was moved back to the top shelf where he was safe.

When I got home from work Friday there was a package waiting for Zane from Zach's God parents, Aunt Sherry and Uncle Craig. We were happy to find Zane's very own stuffed cow inside complete with a lovely letter addressed to Zane. Zane's cow is named Mooly ( clever right), she is girl ( anatomically correct and all ), and is even made by the same brand, Gund, as Zach's Bull. The letter said that Mooly was to be taken to the hospital to keep him company and was sent with prayers and hugs for Zane and his parents.

Yesterday Zane had a blast playing with Mooly and Bull in the rocker in his room. He talked to them, cuddled them, and of course tried to eat them both. He loves his new friend, who currently is sitting in the line of fire back on the changing table. So we want to send big thanks to Aunt Sherry and Uncle Craig for sending Zane his very own stuffed cow to love on. We will be sure to bring him to the hospital to keep Zane and his family company!
